Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
iForget is built to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data.
The short version
iForget does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything you put into the app stays on your device.
What we store
Anything you capture (text you dump in, the structured cards the app creates, reminders, and your history) is stored locally on your device only. iForget has no server and no account system. We never receive a copy of your content.
On-device processing
iForget uses Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device Foundation Models) to turn your captures into structured cards. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your content is not sent to iForget's servers or to any third-party AI service, because there is no remote service to send it to.
No tracking or analytics
iForget contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we do not know what you capture.
Notifications
iForget schedules local notifications on your device to resurface items you've captured. These are handled entirely by your device and are not sent through any external service.
External actions you choose
When you explicitly choose to act on an item, for example adding an event to your Calendar, iForget hands the information to the relevant Apple app through the system, with your confirmation. iForget never performs these actions automatically.
Your control
You decide what to keep and what to remove. iForget never deletes your data automatically. Deleting the app from your device removes all of its local data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated date above will reflect it.
